    My dad's old friend had a 71 Duster with a 426 HEMI, and we cruised I20 at about...160+? :)

hye wicked ways here's your answer
my dad was tellign me about this
they program the car computerly(word?) and that's how they cotnrol it, like soembody said earlier.
The only possible way is to get a number that woudl program it to be like a cop car, thus being illegal and hard to get.
I knew not what I did but am now edumacated

I've personally driven 105 in my Lexus ES300 (not really mine, its my dads, but I drive my brothers and I to school, so I use it 20x as much as him).

While out in California I stayed with my dad's boss. He's a day trader and collects cars in his free time. On a track we reached 150 in his Modena and 190 in his McLaren F1. (this guy is crazy, he's 32, owns 16 cars, 2 houses (hamptons and SF heights) goes through 1.2 million a month (and makes enough to balance that) and guess what ladies... isn't married and doesn't have a girlfriend. (oh ya, and he is an ******* to be around when he is working, but outside of that he is pretty cool))

I've gone faster on my snow machine than I have in a car. It's still below 100 though

Chargers will go pretty fast, like until flames come out of the exhaust.

Ive gone 80 before, sounds pretty slow, but its not bad considering im only 15 with my permit. Then my dad relized how fast i was goign and i got yelled at cuz the speed limit was like 50 or 60, but hey there was no one around so i didnt care.

Cold is all I know. I grew up right outside of Boston, going to school in northern UT. It's -15 here right now.

135 in my 91 mustang gt(new back then) and just under 140 on the busa. Problem is both times were on back roads. We don't have long straightaways where I live.

Dude, how can you know that? Your speedometer only goes to 85!!!!!!!!

I went about 105 on the way back from NorCal vs SoCal, but this was in a '95 Mitsubishi Montero, not exactly racing material.

Me and ZAust were racing (before I went over 100) at like 90, and every time he caught up I'd use OD Off to speed ahead (OD=Overdrive=Ghetto NOS, but not really ) and then we just got going ridiculously fast (for our crappy cars) so I slowed down.

Man, you shouldn't be allowed to drive faster than your speedometer allows!
