*sigh* I wonder why some folks just have to bring up "injustice" when it doesn't apply...

Okay, you called it "Societal Garbage", and from that I am to determine that it is paintball oriented?

Whether its paintball, underage drinking, gun control, or even sports players' payrolls, we need to understand what we are saying...before we say it.

...are the ONLY references to paintball in your entire rant, and that only at the end. There is nothing to relate to the mechanics of the guns, hoppers, feeders, air systems. There is nothing to relate to AGD, WPD, WGP, Kingman, Brass Eagle, WARPIG, PIG-TV, Pigchat, pigs-feet, nor any online Pball store. There is nothing related to scenarios, tourneys, MOUT games, big games, ping pong, or even backyard ball. You do not even mention anything related to paintballs interaction WITH society, the Police, the media, or your Grandma.

Now quit your whining about "injustice", for it is obvious you do not understand that word, but only use it to encourage an argument. I moved this thread to Friendly Corner at MY discretion. I think it is a great thread, but it does not belong in Main.

I like the thread though. So what wrong with it being here anyway? I think you have the idea that only quality stuff is in Main and by golly that is surely not true. We have many good discussions here. And there is a lot of garbage in Main by the way!

all you skinny kids. i was the fat kid in high school. never had any friends all through out. still don't. hahahah, jsut kidding. but anyways, i was usually the last one picked. but i stil tried. i was out there playing hard and sweating like a pig(it's just what fat kids do). even though i was fat, i was the only freshman who would play european handball against the seniors. i never saw any of the skinny kids getting made fun of. they were to busy making fun of me. but jus beause you're fat, doesn't mean you can't try. i was usually first picked for certain things like dodge ball. i ruled at dodgeball. the fat kids are good, they just have to make an effort. i don't feel sorry for them. if they just got in there, they would play fine. if they don't, then they're just going to make excuses and stay fat. i know this seems kind of wrong, but i was that fat kid and i know exactly what they went through. i think i turned out fine. if all those people never made fun of me, i wouldn't have lost weight and turned out the way i am. just the way i see it. it could have been easier, but hey, kids are kids.

In my eyes it is injustice, because I believe it was wrongfully moved. In your eyes it isn't because I didn't mention enough about paintball. I am not using this word to provoke argument. And how dare you accuse me falsely of not comprehending what I wrote. I wouldn't write injustice if didn't know what it meant.

Not only was I "ranting", but I was "whining" too! that really amazes me. This whole time I have been trying to control my manner and keep a cool head. And you insult me for being courteous....

gmag, I understand (to some extent) your lament. But you are dissing this forum by assuming that all here is fluff. Not so! Your thread just proves that. Quite franky I wish we had more like this here. But that does not diminsh this one at all. In fact it makes it easier to be the cream of the crop!

If this post has SO much to do with paintball then why are there 2 pages of debating "childhood trials the fat kid"? And what about the youngest/shortest kid in the class who just so happened to have an older sister who is learning disabled and her reputation as being a retard preceded him into highschool so he's a social reject right off the bat his freshman year?...oh...ummm....I guess I'm unique in that way ..everyone has tough times in their life. I hate to burst the bubble. But highschool DOES one day come to an end, and even the unpopular kids get a chance to graduate just like everyone else. And I never once had to question whether or not someone was being my friend because it was socially acceptable.

And I also agree with joeyjoe367. I felt better being by myself than being stuck in with a bunch of judgemental snobs that didn't appreciate my company.

Thank you Phil. I appreciate all the positive feedback from everyone. I understand your(moderators)point of view. I like being the cream of the crop, and I always strive to be the best...but I just can't agree with your decision. It may not have been the clearest paintball thread. It did take a little deciphering, and you guys failed to do that. And you insulted me while failing to realize the point of my thread.

But ya know what; I'm fighting a battle that I'm never gonna win. Its a lose-lose situation for me. I'm sorry you guys can't grasp what I was saying. I still do not believe it belongs in the Friendly Corner. I am beginning to realize that whatever I say isn't going to change anything. I wish you weren't as stubborn as you are, and I wish you would have been a little more flexible in you decision. But I guess thats how it is...

This whole thread made me think about my school years. Not a jock, nerd, pot-head, etc... just stuck somewhere in the middle. Not to rub noses in it at all, but it was nice being somewhere in the anonymous middle. Had some friends in all groups and didn't have to deal with much in the way of peer pressure.
And why the hell didn't the girls then dress as slutty as they do now? School in the 80's sucked. Much too late for free love, but we got all those cool Miami Vice/Oingo Boingo fasions!
