Yay a broken system designed to get lawyers rich!

I hope it takes a hundred years so the lawyer's grandkids can get rich too.

Well, I'm glad he's getting the Death Penalty...

We can always hope that the other criminals in prison will expedite the sentence for us...

It costs us more to execute someone then keep them in prison for life. That seems odd, doesn't it.

Most of the costs that drive the execution price up are involved in the courts. Deathrow inmates get like 57.9 trillion chances to get an appeal.

IMO, they should receive three chances at appeal. One right after the initial convicting. One a year later. and one 2 years later. If the last one does not work, kick the tires and light the fires. It gives them a chance to get their case re-examined, but also gives time for them to make decisions as to their eternal resting place and such.

I was reading this article about inmates getting old and sick and the costs of taking care of them. The average was something like 70K a year. Thats outrageous!

GOOD!!! Sorry for being news-tarded, but which state finally had the better sense than Virginia to end this fool??

                          Yeah Fact's court system...

                          Seems vaguely reminiscent of something...

"A murderer was captured this morning and tried today.

                          *bang* GUILTY!

Sentence - death. Execution tonight at 6, all net, all channels! Would you like to know more?"
"I would like nothing more than to walk around
wearing a shirt with a giant arrow pointing
downwards, but I have this strange feeling
that most people would take it as some kind
of sexual suggestion rather than an attempt
                          to infer one's final destination."
