insurance wants to see he gets a ticket or your screwed your insurance rates could climb
then you can go to court to make sure he gets no points if your not trying to hurt him
but make sure he gets a ticket it will protect your butt with your insurance
trust me on this
my mom was hit by a car that ran a red light and the cop was a buddy of the guy so he didnt give him a ticket
my moms insurance went up about 800 a year for the next 3 years
the cop told her that her insurance wont go up cause it was other guys fault but her insurance insisted on getting a copy of the other guys ticket
and since he didnt get a ticket his insurance basically laughed when she filed a claim

Actually I went to a jeep for a while. But after I almost rolled it a couple time, yup I got another one
And i'm still looking for yet another, need 5spd, v8, and t-tops for the summer

The funniest thing was the cop looking at me and asking "were you going to fast for conditions" Im like, in hindsight thats a stupid question.. He didn't even ticket me though, lucked out on that one.
