AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I restored a '64 Karmann Ghia years ago.It was a drive/restore project.Got it 95% done and got slammed in the (rear) by a Ford F350 duelly.
The guys insurance company completly screwed me over and I lost thousands of dollars along with countless hours of labor.
I decided that I would never undertake a restore , or own a dream car again.
I must say though , from the pic it looks like a nice body to work with.Good luck!
waiting on the camera to charge but i have pics of visible problem spots.
yeah, i payed for a nice body though. gave the guy more than it was worth, but its here, i dont have to look around for anything, and it was delivered.
On the accident,
i was thinking about that this morning on the can, what do they do? just total it and not give you even close to what its worth? any way to make them?

i dont like signatures. so i turned them off. AO is much better this way.
dude, nice truck..should be a good project. My uncle just finished restoring a 51 Ford PU F-3. Its hysterical. Looks all stock and original til you open the hood. It has the original flathead v8 but it now has a blower on it. When you open the glove compartment there is all digital guages and a cd player. Pretty sweet.
