colorado is my favorite state. I was born there and would like to live there for the rest of my life if possible. Get out of california quick! This place is a wreck. I go to school in Santa Barbara, the weather is great and it is beautiful, but I can't stand the people and the crap that goes on in this state. It's way too friggen crowded too.

Texas is cool, just try not to move to houston, WAY too hot and sticky and smoggy. I've been to Conroe also, they have a really sweet lake there, and lots of really hot girls.

Massachusetts is great. Boston is an awesome city and Cape Cod is a really fun place to live, I spend all my summers there in South Yarmouth on Bass River.

One downside to Texas is that to get anywhere else takes about 2 hours minimum. So if you aren't used to traveling it can be a pain.

I have lived in RI for the early years and now the latter, and I have also lived in 3 parts of NJ, Jackson, Ringwood, and close to Hoboken...I don't remember the name of the town was a while ago, and NY.

NJ I really didn't think was all that bad, in Ringwood we lived in a suburb in the mountains with a lake and that was rather nice. It was also close enough to NY that you could hop the tunnel and go. Now I lived in NYC for a bit, that is an experience. However if you are not accustomed to major city life, I don't recommend. It takes a certain kind of personality to live in the city. Nice to visit though.

Now RI, I call home. I grew up here when I was little and moved here again when I was 21. RI also has a lot of history. I also feel that there is definitely enough to do for everyone. RI I think makes it a point to have festivals, in both Providence and Newport, for just about every season. They have art festivals in the fall, in Scituate. If you look on the monthly calendar of things to do you can always find something that is being held somewhere in the state. We have many paintball fields.

The best part of RI is, it is small, so you really don't have to go that far to find something to do. You can live in the woods near no one, or if you travel 20 min. live in the burbs or the city.

The cuisine in RI I feel is the best I have ever known. One of the top culinary schools in right here in RI...Johnson & Whales. Most of the top chefs come from this school and stay here in RI. You can eat at the most expensive restaurants, or the moderately priced and it is all good.

You have 1 of the top Ivy League Universities here in RI Brown University. Also 1 of the top art schools in the country....my school, Rhode Island School of Design.
There is Providence college....which there basketball team didn't do too bad in March Madness! There is also The University of RI, and the Community College of RI. Four major colleges/universities, all in 1 state, not more than 20 min. away. College Hill in Providence is always fun for the Brown, Providence, and RISD crowd.

The best part of RI that I personally like the best, is I wake up every morning with a great view of the ocean! Can't beat that, to me there is nothing like in the summer waking up and hearing the boats zoom by on the water and the seagulls in the air. In RI there are many places to live by the water.

As far as crime rate, you will have crime and hatred in any city in any state. Ghosts ummmm I don't believe in that.

Geez I feel I just wrote a report for school....haven't done that in a looooong while.

Oh I almost forgot, a lot of movies and some T.V. shows have been filmed here. The Farrely brothers that made Dumb and Dumber, Something about Mary. We also were in a small spot on the Sopranos, the sitcom Providence was filmed here also.

NY sucks also. Regents testing, high taxes, cost of living is going up, high taxes, taxes are going up, tuition going up, life is going down.
