It sounds like she's not really upset at you but something else. She just happens to take it out on someone she cares deeply for.

Try to figure out what's going on in her life that is making her upset. Going off to college? Grades? Parents?

He's from the same area of Virginia that I'm from: Salem/Roanoke area.

Yea, like Sir Brass said...I live in the Southwestern part of the state. However, come this fall, I will be living in Newport News. That is to say I'll be living on campus at Christopher Newport University.

Well, it's like 2 months later now and lets see where we are.....no where.

I have consulted her friends and family on what they think and in very honest terms, whatever happens shy of me killing her, they understand completely and back me up.

Megan is not a bad person. She really isn't. I've loved her for the past 17, almost 18 months. However, I dare say she may just be doing it when she feels like it. Eitherway, I'm gonna wait until after beachweek to sit down with her basically tell her "Before we leave this room, your gonna have to make a big decision. Either you learn to give me the respect I deserve, the same respect I've given you all these months, or you consider yourself single. High maintence girls suck.

i went out with this girl for 7 months, she was kinda the same way yours was.
except in geometry she'd always copy my paper and i'd say stuff to her that she was cheating and stuff, she didn't care all she cared bout was having a good grade so her parents didn't ground her, to tell you the truth, she was dumb as a brick, i've had more intelligent comversations with a dog... honestly.
i've also had better times driving than being with her.

needless to say she was a sophomore at the time i was a junior, i didn't want to go to prom and she did, and she was like "prom is going to be so much fun this year isn't it honey" and i'm like... "i'm not going to prom this year" and she had her tears and stuff, finally we broke up (thank god) and i couldn't be happier.

There were 2 things i didn't like about this girl,
1. She didn't know how to drive worth crap.
2. she didn't know what a muffler was on a car (i'm not making this up)

so now i'm with a different girl, a friend of a friend. she's listens to great music and i couldn't be happier, she does know what a muffler is also.

at one point inbetween girls i seen a girl for a week or two that her dad drove a porsche 911
but yeah. i'm done blabbleing now.

okay, so there was alot more she didn't have, plus she was as dumb as an effing rock.

if she had any idea on what a turbo was or how it worked she would still have no idea on how to install it.

lots of friends? she had these 2 other girls and one of the girls boyfriends that she hung out with all the time, i went to the mall with all of them once, needless to say i felt really really smart. her friends convinced her that i treated her like S*** just because she didn't have me perminatally whipped like her other friend had her boyfriend.

Well, we talked, we yelled, we made up....we're going to Barnes and Noble tomorrow for coffee.

Things started a little prematurely, but they worked out well in the end. I made a few concessions that I was more than willing to make, and she said she'd do what she promised. Now lets see how things pan out.

And yes deadeye, I've had a girl....for 18 months. The funny thing is, it's like James Carvel and his wife. I was president of the Young Republican voters at my highschool and she was the treasurer for the Young Democratic voters there. Needless to say, we try out best to not talk about politics.

Reminds me of a girlfriend in highscool. If I got a good grade on a test I would have to listen to her go on about how I was so smart and it wasn't fair, and its not like I went around bragging either... Then when she got a good grade, she would run around all day like she was god or somthing going on about how she was so smart.

and that is what made me purposely fail a few... and ruin my highschool... lol... but i graduated and all..
