And yes, Macs CAN be easily upgraded. Correct me if I am wrong, G4 processors CAN be upgraded. Hard Drives can be purchased as larger ones come out. More memory. (Have 2GB, will keep adding more as needed). Face it, the G5 will last a good 5 years. Now, whether it will still be used as a workstation for photography is another thing. But it wil be able to be used for quite some time.
Now, the "Apple is going down" statement had better not come up. It has been said for a decade. Now, what? Apple is stronger than ever, and still growing.
Oh BTW, market share does not equal a better computer. If that were so, a custom built Saleen S-7 ($400,000) would be a piece of ****. Or how about Porsche. Or BMW. Mercedes Benz. None of the cars would be any good. The Honda Civic Would be THE BEST, but it's NOT. [Cringes at the though
