My firends mom's 4Runner ('90 something) has 360k+ and no engine work! Just regular oilchanges and tuneups at the Toyota dealership. My dads VW Golf has 220k+ miles. Still running well, might need a tuneup, maybe an engine rebuild. Although I'm not surprised, that poor car went through alot. Its engine had some abuse.

          Jeeps, they last
Well, not the grand cherokees and liberties, but the Cherokees, wranglers, CJ's, all just keep on going, they tend to eat cats though.

One of my boss's had a Storm that went over 400k. Finally got rid of it due to more and more things going bad. All he did was the proper maintenance to get it to 400K though. Suprised me cause I thought Geo's were crappy.

2000 Lincoln Navigator, 120k miles so far, no problems, no complaints, reliable as can be. I'm gonna drive it into the ground.

One of my car is a 1990 Isuzu Trooper. Right now, I have 212,000 miles on it. We haven't had to do anything to it in a loooong time.

                              WRONG!

The Grand Cherokees and Cherokees are fine so long as you get the inline 4.0 six. I had a wrangler to 120k when I traded it for a GC that I drove to 160k with no problems.
