Weird lump in my skin

I've got a cyst on my back and am waiting to see a surgeon on the 29th. It would figure though, surgery right when paintball season is finally starting up here in Canada (I HATE WINTER ). Hopefully I won't be out of action too long though :)

I had one just like you. Be prepared to sleep on your stomach for up to a week. Getting out of bed will take some time and just remember you just had surgery when you sit down and lean back. As for why I had one, mines grew larger than a paintball and was painful. Not to metion the risk of getting an infection.

As the other people said, it's very important to get it checked out ASAP.

I had a cyst on my head. Didn't hurt or anything, but you could see it if you were taller than me (I keep my head shaved so it was obvious.)

So, I had surgery to have it removed. Wasn't a big deal at all, just local anathestic, and I couldn't even feel the scalpel. The only thing I noticed was the doc putting in the stitches, when he tugged on them to make them tight. A few weeks later, he tool them out, and that was it.

I bet its a tumor. I would get it checked. As for warts, I had on cut of my right baby toe. That sucker was almost bigger then my big toe when the pulled the SOB out. But I didn't care that thing hurt like a mother fudger.

I had a wart on my foot, I cut that right off :)
I had some thing on my arm, I cut that off :)
My big toenail was screwed up and digging into the skin on the side of it, so I cut the skin off, and got rid of the thing that was hurting :)
None of the above has ever blead, or hurt. I don't suggest trying it though :)
I had a huge lump under the skin on the side of my neck, for like 4 months, and now its gone so I guess i'm safe :)

Man there's so much crap that can go wrong with your body, don't assume anything. I had this bump on the tip of my finger a few years ago. I kept poking it with hot needles and stuff but the thing was as solid as the muscle. Turned out to be a giant cell tumor, which sounds like cancer, and they had it checked, but it's not. The doc cut it out, can you believe they put me under, and I have a disfigured pointy finger now, but it's not really noticable :) And ain't AO a great place that we can all come together and discuss our growths

I have 11 toenails :)
I split my big toenail in half when I was like 8, and it never went back together, so now I have 11, i'm special :)

I got it checked out a few days ago and my doctor told me that it was probably a swollen lymph node. He said I had probably popped a pimple that went into my bloodstream rather than of out of my skin. :) Then he prescribed me a haircut.
