I'm with 1stdeadeye. Go with an I6 Jeep. I drove a cherokee for a year and it's one of the most reliable vehicles I've ever seen. I flipped it twice(four-wheeling), buried it in the mud, got it stuck between a rock and a hardplace(a tree), and then we ate lunch....seriously though, they are more reliable than a hammer and nails. The only thing more durable needs a crew of 3 and has a 5" bore.

            Acura Integra.

            I've seen 1998 Integra GSR's go for $5000-$7000, they're great cars.

For that price, I would go with a prelude. As far as reliability goes, Honda cant be beat. Any Prelude model after 97 is vtec with close to 200 hp. Also, manual transmission seems to be popular with them, since that is all I have found around here.

Sure Honda's are good commuter cars, but if you want to go fast, quickly, well look some place else

I don't see why people get RSX's, I mean sure they have a high redline, but they just don't seem all that great to me. Now a WRX I can understand, turbocharged, AWD, and a Subaru. But guys come on he said something below $10,000 and you are suggesting Tiburons and RSX's?

Or you could always go with a Kia Rio for $7999.99
*Imagine a big flashy creative sig pic that either involves a cartoon, paintball player, some stupid internet movement or symbol with my name creatively tied into it because I'm too lazy to make one and if you don't like it, get over it!*
