I was the webmaster at our school and had administrative rights...Anything they ever blocked that I liked I would always unblock it. Then one time for the heck of it I blocked our own school homepage.... Got in trouble for that one..

Just proxy it, that's what I do at my school whenever I need to go to a site, but most of the time things are easy. We have the "Bess can't go there" crap, but most of the time it doesn't catch certain things.

Another thing I love to do is put roms on my account and play them when I shold be woking.

also, if your unix/linux savvy, and its not removed go ahead and telnet to your fav shell account and just run through lynx texual browser...
if its blocked, see if you can get to like, webattack.com and dl a new telnet client

Putty is a very good telnet/ssh client. But if your computers run linux (like ours), telnet and ssh are already available to you.
