You were hit by a Bicycle and then ran?

Perhaps we could if we had something to even work with.

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

Bicycle hit car that drove in front of him, low speeds but a dent was put in the door.

Probably nothing, maybie a small fine. He would definatly have to pay for the damages though.

your insurance should cover it...assuming it exceeds the deductable..which is unlikely

Im still not understanding who is at fault? Did the car cut him off and he had no other option but to run into it? I believe that Bicycles always have the right of way?

You run into the side of a moving car, its your fault.

So lets say Im riding down the street. A car makes a right turn in front of me and I have no choice but to run into it. I am at fault? How the hell does that work?

                  Bikes stop quickly
I'm assuming it was the bike guys fault or he wouldn't be asking. Leaving the scene of an accident pretty much seals your fate of it being declared your fault.

                    not true...at least not always.

bikes get a lot of special exceptions due to their naute...of being bicycles. Many places, they ALWAYS have the right of way...

I really want to declare a cyclist running down season.

And I wanna declair open tire slashing season. Whats your point? From the statement the car drove in front of him, ie it wasn't stopped.

As for traffic rules I generally just pretend my bike is a car while I'm on the street. It may very well be that the car passed illegally and cut off the bike rider.

On the other hand I HAVE hit a parked car while riding a bike before (whee that was fun). Fortunately I hit the bumper, and it was an older car, therefore there was no damage.

Traffic laws apply to bikes just like they do to cars. Stop at stop signs, ride on teh right side of teh road, etc.

Well thats not all true. Yea they follow most of the same rules as cars. When the bike darts out against a red light then they are liable for certain...

On a related note: It sucks being the biker hit by a car. I Sped out into an intersection and got nailed by an Infinity (of all cars why an infinity?!). I rolled across the top of the car and landes smack dab in the middle of the intersection. Should i have not been wearing a helmet then, I would be posting on PBN right now instead of here. Got some nice scars and a chipped tooth from that. Only perk to being hit was i got picked up by to hot sisters to take me to the hospital.
