Personally thought it was pretty good. I didn't like the ending much. Achilles running around Troy seemed a tad ridiculous. As many people have said, not true to Homer's work.

Where was Cassandra? They seemed to combine her with some other characters?

But all in all it was pretty good. I liked the scene with Achilles and Priam. Also liked how they made the fight scenes exciting and athletic without going all matrixy...

The movie was good. Like someone said before the only one I really cared about was Hector. Achilles was an ***-hole. The Greeks were all punks. Paris was a whimp. Good fights though. Man I really hate Achilles, that arrogant ***.

Thats why I disagree with all these critics who say Brad Pitt was the Achilles heel of the movie. You're supposed to have a certain amount of hatred to Achilles. Hector is the tragic hero of the Illiad.

Brad Pitt did a good job of making the audience have mixed feelings for Achilles. At times you admired him and at times you were rooting for someone to spear him through the gut!

B+ movie IMO. My favorite part was in the start when Brad kills that huge dude w/ one hit and yells to that army. That was sweet. The Blonde was a hottie fo sho. Paris is such a homo

Oh Im terribly sorry for raising my post count. ... I really dont care about that kinda **** and if I did I, I'd be posting all the time complainining about other people in fear that they might get more posts than me. I didn't even notice that it was an old thread.

What's the big deal? It's not against the rules to bring up an old thread. And as far as saying something not worthless, is that against the rules? If it really was, then there would be about 20 people registered at this forum, and it would suck.

As far as troy goes, I thought it was a cool movie. I saw it a while after it came out. That dude was fast. I live in Troy now. It sucks.
