Well I haven't exactly been keeping up with intel recently. But started thinking about laptops and relized no one makes laptops with amd's???
Anyway, I didn't a little bit of research but didn't find a answer to some questions.
what's the differance between a p4, pm and a centrino and how to they benchmark against eachother?
Why does intel make p4's as fast as 3.2 but pm's only go as fast as 1700??

. I do know that for a laptop to be called a "Centrino" It requires it to have 3 parts. A specific processor, a specific chip set and a specific wireless setup. If it does not have one of those, even though it has the other two, it can't be marketed as Centrino.
