And Facts, I doubt there will be anyone to equal him for a long time to come, much less your lifetime....nothing against your lifetime

LOL I'm having a tremendous lifetime thank you very much!

I had to stop and think about the things that had happened while Reagan was in office that affected me.

He was my "first" President I got to vote for.

I served in the Marines while he was in office and watched the morale literally skyrocket during my time there.

The only downside was 1983 Beirut. Happened about 3 months before my induction. Didn't make me change my mind a bit about joining.

I only wish the gipper had turned us loose on the bastards then.

I watched this country emerge from one of the most horrible economies it had seen since the depression.

I saw a country with a bloody nose from Viet Nam start to take pride in itself again.

I married my high school sweetheart the week I got out of the Corps. 18 years next month!

I went to school and came face to face with unbrideled lberalism in all it's perversion.

I achieved IN SPITE of them.

I bought and paid for my house during Reagans terms.

I started my first business and continue to work at it to this day.

    I went to school. Again.

Came face to face with liberals. Again.

    Achieved. Again.

Went to my first Republican National Convention. WOOT!

Voted for Ronaldus Magnus. Drank a victory toast. WOOTY WOOT!

Lived fat and happy by my own wits doing what I loved to do.

Cheered when he took office and saluted when he left office.

Prayed for him and his family when the news of Alzheimers came out.

Cried when I heard todays news.

    God speed Mr. President.

You will always be my first.

there is alot of emotions about his death. Its weird, I think he's a very interesting president and although I dont agree with some his administration's policies in hindsight, when I was little he was "THE PRESIDENT". All the presidents that came after, dem or republican, I've just viewed as politicians with a bigger title. It's funny, but in the 80's, as a small kid, I did'nt really comprehend what the president really is or what he does so I viewed Reagan as this kind of John Wayne/Superman type who watched over my family.

I'll miss Reagan quite a bit. He's the first President who's term i remember. A president of greater magnitude will not likely surface for quite some time.
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger
