Hey, I've got plenty of respect for fans of teams even when they are not winning. Believe me, I hate all the fans who put those stupid Laker flags on their cars. Those are the fans that only came to like the Lakers when they started winning championships. Where were they when they were going through the transitional period?

I admit, it really irritates me to see fanatics for the Lakers or even the Raiders...don't get me started with Raider fans! LOL!

To me, every time I see those flags...the first thing that comes to my mind is..."Look at that LA Faker fan!"

Hey Gibby, I totally agree with ya. The laker flags are all but annoying. Noticed how they didn't come out as much this year? Used to be every 10th car had a laker flag now I've seen 1 the whole playoff run. I'm not a basketball fan in general so I have no preference. If the Laker's win, which honestly I didn't think would happen and it's looking pretty close to coming true, then fantastic. I for one pretty much always root for new champions in every sport. For example in the NHL. I was so glad that the finals was between two teams that haven't won it within the last 10 years or at all. Teams like Colorado, Detroit and New Jersey were the dominant teams in the 90's but I like the idea of changing it up. If the same teams win all the time the sport get's old. Another example is the Yankee's. I was so glad to see Florida win the series last year. Hope some other team makes a suprise appearance and gives the world notice.

Jazz vs Bulls only happened once in the finals. Jazz had it going into 7 but collapsed to the great one and his flu in the final seconds. I should know I grew up in Utah and gave my Aunt a hard time about it, her being a Jazz fan and all.
