AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I don't think you guys are helping by listing 30 and 40+ movies
yes they are! movie marathon ...
anyway, wow, lots of people with generally good taste in movies who put one or two absoloute stinkers on their list!
Dryden- wow, theres someone who takes film seriously!
bunch of movies you guys arelisting are ones i see at the store and say to myself "need to see that one of these days, not today though!" now ive got an excuse!
Well,...David Lean
Made a string of great films with Alec Guinness, who unfortunately will be remembered most for Obi-Wan Kenobi.
roger ebert would be proud of that movie mind you possess.
sir alec is greatness, i for one will always think of him as col. nicholson. but thats just me.
listing tons of movies is great, just hop on netflix and put them in your q. its a great way to learn movies. i just kinda skimmed through the lists but i dont think i noticed caddyshack. no list of great movies is complete without caddyshack. if you really want to make your buddys tense, rent happiness. its a fantastic movie but it has some majorly tense subject matter. if i was to have a movie marathon this weekend it would include these movies(in no particular order):
the empire strikes back (still have to watch it on vhs for a few more months damn you lucas)
caddyshack (see above)
seven
heat
if i had time i might squeeze in scarface or the godfather pt. II.
