He is just trying to do the best job he can. I would rather wait to get a part that is perfect, than have a vendor rush it to me just to get me off their back ( *cough* Rogue's Vert Frame *cough*). Good things come to those who wait.
It has been brought to my attention that this post has been taken as a blast on Rogue. It is not. I have only the utmost respect for Rogue, not only in his products, but in his customer service. What was meant by this post was to say. "While a vendor like RogueFactor may take some time in getting his products out to the public, he does this to ensure as close to perfection in his work as he possibly can." So, here is a little endorsement for Rogue. As an avid customer of his, I can honestly say that he is one of the best businessmen I have dealt with in any facet of my life, both on- and off-line (actually, he shares first place with my engine builder, Dustin Lee, and our steel supplier, Vista Industries...shameless plug).

But anyhoo, back on topic...Doc will pull though, but he is busy as all hell. You and everybody else wants to know the status of your order. For God's sake, he's human. Well, that's the rumor anyway.

and you also have to realize that every one in alaska send thier stuff to him to get fixed. And for one weekend out of the summer months he is the marker repair man at the MSTS events.

and about the fire stuff i nearly had to evacuate my place cause of it and i'm in fairbanks. as far as i know there are no fires threatinging Anchorhage... thats about where doc lives... some where around there

If you really want another place to get a hold of him go to www.paintballchaos.com message boards. he is on there about every other day. just put up a topic about it... don't be to evil cause people are liable to get VERY pissed at you casue they all love doc on there.

Well I've just filed a complaint via Paypal. We'll see what happens.

              I'm tired of being ignored.

Amazing! Now I get a response, kinda. I now have a tracking number, but I'm not canceling my complaint until I get the product. I'm getting this info via Paypal's investigation, I'm not getting any mail from Doc directly yet.

Is putting a stocked item in a box custom work now?

Sounds like the man needs to get organized. If someone buys a stocked item, mail it to them. Its not hard and it doesnt involve 30 hours of custom milling to put the item in the mail.

Patience? When someone asks if the items in stock they intend for it to be mailed within atleast 3 days, not a month. If these are his bussiness practices I find them ridiculous.

sounds like his biggest problem is with organization, selling items that are no longer in stock and having to catch up.

working 18 hours per day on paintball guns...i too would have an organization problem.

he never says no to work, which means he can get behind at times.

give the man a break, i can 100% assure you he is not trying to take your money.

I find it very amusing how all so many people (no one in particular, just saying in general) get all weird when they suspect people. They get suspicious, and the word "fishy" pops up every other word. The problem is that 99% of the peope here have no idea what owning a business is like, and they just assume it's all of their ideals. Ideals are great, but when it comes down to it, some of those things must be sacrificed by the REAL businessmen to offer you something that isn't so common, QUALITY. This industry is choked with crappy manafacturers with terrible tolerance consistancy because they'd rather flood the market with their product. You're waiting and paying for a hand-made, often custom piece. As for answering e-mails, tell me how someone should schedule their work day? If they're answering e-mails, they're not working on your project, and if they're working on your project, then they're not replying you e-mails. I've witnessed one person posting on one particular machinist's forum every other day or so asking for his work... for 11 months. Obviously his order required a lot of work, and if I was the machinist, I'd be thinking to myself "Screw this guy... he's lucky I have to send him his parts back by laws."

                              Give them a break.

Bad business, maybe... but no one can say they aren't doing the best they can. It's a lot of stress and work. Plus how should they have social lives? Don't expect them to have the same kind of business you're used to dealing with, when there are multiple people with specific jobs. These folks are doing it all by themselves.

Why do all pump players seem so poor? You'd think we'd save some money on paint, but it seems like everything I save I just spend on more crap I don't need...
