Do you still support the war?

Just a question, doesn't need tot urn into a debate. I for one support, but am having a very hard time doing so. It feels like I'm lying and grasping at threads.

I don't understand the first option of the poll "Yes and I always will" if you answer that, what if Bush comes out and says "I lied about the entire thing, we had no evidence". Basically that option is like saying "I like war no matter what is going on".
Rooster "But such is the mentallity of the Arab people. Which is why as long as there are Arabs, there will be a terrorist problem."

The war in columbia? I think that is the only declared war we are fighting right now.
I beleive the was in Iraq is "officially" over, we arn't fighting the Iraqi army. If you mean a bunch of criminals attacking U.S. military personal in an attempt to take over the country of Iraq and install there own opresive governement, then yes i'm all for the U.S. being involved.

We need to support the troops and finish what we started. Its too late to decide if you are "anti-war." If you don't like what happened, just vote for someone other than Bush and Dick "F-you!" Cheney.

Don't argue semantics, we all know that when someone says "The War" it's in reference to Iraq.

Hardly, you can be anti-war and support the troops.

Whats the point? If you are anti-war, are you advocating pulling the troops out immediately? Thats crazy. I can see being angry over the justifications (or lack thereof) given for the war, but I don't classify that as being anti-war.

I'm just asking if you support the war or not.

Why do you all think Bush lied? Why keep stating that NJPaint? He went with the best intelligence he had! My God, Clinton used the phrase WoMD throughout his presidencey.

Bush told the American Public the info he had. He did not go out and gather it. He worked with what he had.

Sure you can, but the second you voice those anti-war feelings, the support for the troops goes out the window. They dont wanna hear that. How do think they feel when they see people protesting? It doesn't matter how logical or constitutionally sound it is for you to demonstrate your freedom of speech, when things are as chaotic as they are over there, the lines start to blur.

I agree that he went with the information, but as it turns out the sources of that information were extremely questionable, and should have been examined more skeptically. I think it was a case of hearing what they wanted to hear.

Anyways, I never blame Bush himself, because he isnt running things. He is just a puppet. His cabinet is composed of people far more intelligent than he is, and I believe they are the ones who really make the policy decisions. Why can't the republicans put McCain on the ticket, Id vote for him in a hearbeat.

LOL, roll your eyes if you want, but Rumsfeld, Powell, and Rice are far more intelligent than the president. Nothing I have seen of the President's actions have shown me that he is an intelligent man. His school grades were mediocre, and he public speaking skills are poor.

Umm, no, I can support the troops and protest the war.
