did everyone forget what happened 9/11 already? seems all the patriotism went away. america is a great country and im happy i moved here, but the one gripe i have with it is the non patriotism.

anyway, if you support the troops, you should support the way they feel, and therefore you should back their feelings. garrenteed (sp?) all military personel want to finish this war and finish what we started. if you support us, you should support what we do. if not, you are crapping on us, plain and simple.

First, I've got to point out the irony of me making fun of Bush's grades, while making an obvious grammatical error. It made me chuckle. You'd have to refer to the original post to see it.

Anyways, I understand what you are saying here, but scientists don't make public policy, and don't dictate foreign policy. The Republican's selected Bush because he was electable, not because he was the best qualified. This is true of almost every election, and every political party.

Um, if I didn't agree with what it was doing, why shouldn't I?

If the US went on a campaign to murder puppies I wouldn't support it, but you say I should just because I live here?

Not true. Sometimes the ends do justify the means. Whether or not Bush lied, intentionally or through ignorance, I still support the war in that it has brought about major positive changes n the middle east. A major sleaze bag is out of power, who whether or not he actually had any WMD's had a serious woody for getting his hands on them and it was only a matter of time until he did.

I see it this way. Everyone in the world hates America until their feces hits the air motivator and then they suddenly love us. Or more specifically, they love our money.

I would rather be hated and feared than hated and laughed at.

                Just my two cents.
Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.

                    That's nonsense too!

McCain was far more electable then Bush. McCain would have destroyed Gore. He was much more popular with the swing voters, and even a lot of the more moderate Democrats. He also would have had the support of the republican base because he's strong on defense and better then Gore.

Bush was not selected for his electability. He won the primary because republicans wanted to see a conservative in the White House. We didn't really get what we thought we were getting, but he's ok.

As for the grades, the man got decent grades at a top flight university. Not only that, but I don't care. When I hire people in junior posistions I don't look at grades because they tend not to have too much bearing on a person's ability to perform. The only thing I look for is a lot of incompletes, since that may suggest the candidate doesn't finish what they started. Who cares about his grades? Is the man smart? You bet he is. Would Al Gore likely do better then Bush on a standardized test? Probably. But I elected President to lead the country, not to take tests. And leadership isnt something you get graded on in college.
Or better yet, why don't you kill yourself. No, really, die. Drop dead, don't leave a note, in fact burn your house while your little ego is stuck in a bench vice so that you'll also incenerate yourslef and everything you own with it. Because that's all you're worth. You're not even wirh thte time it'll take for the house to burn down, so just kill yourself. You're a waste of space. You are nothing, you always will be nothing. Don't leave a note, you're not worth the ink. - Tyger
