Someone needs to read the reports from the 911 commission explaining how about everything in this "documentory" is in error. However Moore does not care about the facts. They don't make good theater it seems.

I saw it with a friend of mine(who is so absurdly left-wing that he get's headaches)....

my opinion of the movie: LORD OF THE RINGS SCOOT OVER! There's a new fantasy in town and it doesn't have any elves in it(but it does have an uglyass troll in it).

Seriously though, we aren't friends anymore because he thought I was "complimenting my ignorance with humor and apathy" by laughing and later, sleeping, during the movie.

Well the fact is this opened NO ONES eyes as Carni claims (but he might just be being sarcastic?). What he means by that is it gave him something to point to for facts to back his already decided upon set of arguments. However it belies exactly what facts an independent group of people studied and concluded. The 911 Commission. And those facts were published after Mr Moore had created his spin on the thing with this farce of a film and its now too late for Mr Moore to retract them to create a true documentary. Assuming he would ever want too. So now its a matter of reading the facts. And they are published a plenty now. Just google for em. Every news source out there discounts about everything he ever claimed in his so called Documentary. If you REALY want your eyes open you will read them. But I suspect that does not fit your agenda. So go ahead and live in your little dream world.... Because its not backed up facts. And you should in fact be outraged that this farce has been hoisted upon you. And should see what Moore is really about. Its lying. He might should run for office!

I can only assume the those complaining about the inaccuracies in the film have actually seen it, and are not just parroting various commentators. This is AO, after all.

Michael Moore is an extremist left idiot, and I realize that his movie was a bunch of crap quite often. It was definately funny at times, but there was definately a skew. Perhaps Gore actually would have won in Florida if all the votes had been counted, but nobody know's the answer to that as the Supreme Court made up their minds quickly enough. Michael Moore is truly an idiot, and he is so far left that he (like Nader) hurts his own damn cause.

That still doesn't mean I think Bush is a competent President, and I will not be voting for him (unless Kerry dies and Al Sharpton or Dennis Kucinich get the ticket nomination in which case I'll be really split, because they're idiots too).

Good read. And for those who think if you oppose Moore and his methods/lies but have not personally seen the movie and still think Moore is a fraud and dangerous man, you are somehow wrong for thinking this.... hogwash.

The sinple truth is that you can't fall back on "if you didn't see the movie you don't know". If that was the case, we can say if you didn't see Hitler and his people kill all those Jews it didn't happen and you are only parrotting what others have said.

More so, you might as well say if you have never shot up with heroin you don't know its affects and should not speak out againts it... no matter how much data is avaiable on the matter.

This is not an issue of people who know Moore mislead and lied in his film simply saying so because they don't like him... but because it is all well documented.
