Anyone Else Using FIrefox From Mozilla?

Anyone? Just got it a few minutes ago, so far I love it, any problems that I should be expecting? Any info is appreciated(sp),

Been using it for a while. Best. Browser. Ever. My laptop seems to loose plug-ins occasionally, and there's the every-once-in-a-while page fault, but nothing I can't tolerate.

I don't know whether it's a supposed to be a feature or a bug, but whenever I try to click a _NEW link (one that opens a new window, or file download or whatever) it refuses to register the click until the entire page has finished loading or you press stop. I find it infuriating.

I have been running it and love it. I have found some ActiveX pages that it doesn't like, but they are few and far between.

Mozilla > IE I think that about sums it all up.

I put it on my moms computer and she said she didn't like it so I changed the icon and name on the desktop to make it look like IE. Later on she asked me why the internet seemed to be working better. Just my funny little anecdote for the night.

I've been using it for a while.

Only problem I sorta dislike is its auto popup blocker sometimes catches _new links you click, so it doesn't open til you open the blocker and give the site permission.

Other than that I never touch IE for anything (minus when MSN opens my hotmail on IE)

i use firefox with a bunch of extensions

              tab browsing is awesome.

really there are only a few things that i dont like
one is that i cant figure out a way to make my bookmarks autohide when they are showing(vertically)

and another thing i miss from IE is the hold your mouse over a picture and getting the little toolbar for saving, email. i lived that thing.

but those little things are minor
              great browser

Woowoo, Mozilla rox =) In all seriousness, I moved the company I work for from IE to Mozilla, because I was sick off all the crap I had to end up fixing. Besides, of the DOHS says don't use IE, it really starts to make you wonder... Though for course Mozilla has become popular enough that people have found/written malware for it.

I love it, but I'm having some problems with it.

My google search button no longer functions, and I can't seem to install the Java or Shockwave plugin for the life of me

I am using it at home on a pc and here at work on a Mac. I have several extensions loaded with no issues other than an occasional delay here at work. I believe it is our network, not the software though.

I would recommend it. It works with no real issues so far, after 3 months of use.

I know you've probably checked this out, but make sure that you have administrator/power user rights (I'm guessing your using something that has NT authentication). Go directly to macromedia and download the plug-in executable; when you install it you should have the option to install it for Mozilla. Hope that helps.

I really like the download manager with it. You can pause, cancel, etc your downlaods you start using the "SAVE AS" link.

Been using it since it was called "Phoenix." Tabbed browsing is by far the greatest feature. I know it is not exclusive to Firefox, but it is something that is one of the reasons to switch to it.

                              History:

                              Phoenix(0.6 & earlier)->Firebird(0.7)->Firefox(0.8 & up)

I'm not under the alkafluence of inkahol that some thinkle peep I am. It's just the drunker I sit here the longer I get...
