2-3" of travel, yes, but as far as power goes, its all I need, maybe more! The CR is a pure motocrosser, built for racing. Once I hit the powerband on that thing, it almost jumps out of my hands.
I have not had that much experience on newer bikes though. I prefer the older bike because, in my opinion, though they might not be as advanced, they are much more classy, as you could tell the difference between them by the striking colors and shape of the tank, or the shape of the air box, and they werent entirely made of plastic. Although I must admit I wouldn't mind having a brand new Husqvarna:) I like old bikes cause they definitely have a lot of character and they are loud...I like loud bikes:)
The 80 sure is a lot of bike. My cousin had one I think, that thing has some suspension!:)
