    v4s suck anyways

cept those vw's- they are fast little poops
    V4? Are you retarded?

MR-2 GT-Four? No such thing bud...you are thinking of the celica gt-four.

    BTW...

2nd Gen Mr2's (1991-96 in the states, 98 in japan) have inline (2.2l for n/a or 2.0l for turbo) 4 cylinders, not "v4's".

    And...

    The 4 cyl VW's (1.8T and 2.0l) are inline four's as well...not v4's.

My friend has a '94 MR2 turbo. I about cried when he wrecked that thing, a big truck didn't see him and ran him off the road. I think the motor and body is ok but the suspension and axels are messed up and he doesn't have the money to fix it.

I bet they're going to bring the Supra back, with Nissan and the 350Z, and Toyota having no competing sports cars.

I read that if they were going to bring the Supra back it was going to be a hybrid car. Not sure how accurate that is because I don't really keep up with the import scene

There was a concept hybrid Supra recently, not sure what they're doing with that though.

Cookies: Go find something you actually have a clue about. One, ricers do suck, but they are at least remotely entertaining to watch race. Two, the average rice burner is front wheel drive. There are only a few exceptions, and they aren't common.

I can think of no company that sells a v4 automobile. Only motorcycles. And the MR2 has always been an inline 4. During the second generation you could get a turbo or nat. assperated version.

              And no MR2 was 4wd.

Also, every Mr2 was a mid engine.

And the Vws aren't any faster than the average rice burner.

So go back to whatever it is you normaly do, I doubt it involves cars, and leave the ricers and others alone until you have a clue what you're talking about.

The Mr2 and the Celica Died a slow painful death When they Removed the Turbo...

I mean look at the WRX and WRX STi. They cant keep them in the showroom!

Why am I going to buy a celica when I can get somthing with more horsepower more torque and a powerband reminicent of a small block chevy (For STi). With near 300 lb/ft at 3500 rpm's holding till redline and more torque a few hundred RPM's off idle than the celica or MR2 could ever hope to make EVER... Its no surprise.

Add AWD slap a mid lower 20g pricetag on it (32g's for STi) and there is no option.

Yeah, I wish they would bring back the Supra, just not with the $50k pricetag. They need to go back to their roots and make an affordable Supra like the 80's ones and still look good like the last gen we saw. Also the Toyota Hybrid sports car was the Volta and the body was designed by the guy who designs the bodys for Lambo or Ferrari I forgot.

Also, I think the tC looks alot better than the Celica. The Celica was just busy in its last gen. It looks more conservative and refined, but still a little bit sporty not to mention very affordable which the Celica was starting to get pricey. Oh well, good bye Celica and MR2, I hope your sacrifice will bring back something better from Toyota's boring old people image, the xA and xB are .
