I wouldn't say no car can outrun the radio. If you watch Mischief 3000 that documents the New York to Sanfransisco Cannon Ball Run a F50 Ferrari actually does it. There's an interview with the owner saying he was doing 180mph and over his scanner he could here the cops saying that he was about 5 miles further back than he was, so they had no idea where the heck he was. But i guess the average person doesn't own a 600,000 dollar car that can go that fast.

Well, mine aren't as outrageous as all yours but i do have 2 different Tresspassings for Making love on other peoples property in my Bonneville. But they both got reduced to just warnings since the signs for private property were so small and out of the way.

Got one for doing Over 75 in a 55. The cop was incredibly cool and didn't give me any wreckless and dangerous and said if i could get it dropped or reduced he'd be all for it (It pays to be NICE to police and PULL OVER when you see them behind you instead of thinking your "hot stang" can outrun em and just piss em off).

My town is full of low crime, rich white suburban familys, and cops that have nothing more to do then arrest teenagers. There were like 9 of us in this fairly large field by a school in the downtown area of our town. Lots of alleys and lots of places to hide. We were just chilling the the field one night playing football when we started throwing these huge things of mud/rocks at eachother. And as a joke one of my friend fakely pretended to throw one at a car, and they just flicked us off and drove away. Later that night they came back and threw fire crackers at us. And the next time they came back my friend decided to throw one of the rock things at their windshield. Well ya, he broke it completely.

Dammit wrong move, it was past kerfue and a person that lives there called the cops because we were being to loud they were probably 500 ft. away when this all happened. Basically there were lots of places to go so we all ran. Me and 2 other friends just ran to this alley and sat by a garage for like 30 minutes(seemed like forever). Then we just walked downtown and went to burger king, then we realized they weren't open so we went home. And slept at my house. Little did we know that my friend and 1 other kid got caught by the cops and he got arrested and had to go to court and pay for the windshield etc. Definitely a night I won't forget.

I have plenty of stories about running from the cops for skateboarding at different places we weren't suppose to be.

Don't know where you live, but the State troopers around us drive Camero's, some of with are fittied w/ NOS, though I'm not sure if they techinically are supposed to have that. Almost nessecary considering there are so many rich people around here w/ fast cars.

A buddy of mine works for a company that does modifications on police cruisers. He works over all vehicles that are for traffic patrol.Even the cars not designated as Interceptors are pretty darn fast.

So first off , unless you have changed your chip in the stangs puter it won't do a tick over something like 105. Plenty slow enough to be caught by a cruiser. And even if you went and got the chip changed out , or own a pre computer stang , it would take considerable work to outrun one (a cop), and magic to get away from the radio. Loosing the police isn't easy in real life like it is on your favorite version of Grand Theft Auto....
Boy. You are so wrong. Do you know anything about mustangs. You dont even know what mustang I have. 105 (laugh). A peice of crap can do 105. Sorry buddy. It is a 90 5.0 mustang completly stock, except for exhaust. It easily does 140. 155 takes a little time cuz 5th gear has a governor set at 3500 rpms. No chip. I have ditched many cops. Actually 3. If you do it immediatly and get away within 20 seconds or so. They will not get you. I have done it and so has my friend with his rx-7. Watched him do it while we were driving around. It is true you can not outrun a radio but you can fly past a cop at twice his speed and get off an exit a mile or two down the road. Beleive me it can be done.

              its all power to weight

and you think that interceptor motors are stock?
              think again kid.
Sorry dude. I'm no kid. I'm 27 and was a mechanic for 2 years. I know police "interceptors" are not stock, dont remember saying they were either. But they aint that fast either. If they geared those 4.6 liter motors on that heavy of a car it would not excelerate very good. Then how would they get people. When gearing a car you trade off top end for exceleration. Going from 70 to 140 takes some time. If someone flies past you at 140. How long do you think it would take just to match his speed let alone go faster to start catching up. Think about it.

Well, let me be the first to formally congratulate you. Thank you so much for endangering our lives, and the lives of our children. If you're 27, you should know better. Hell, when I was 19 I knew better! Pull over and take it like a man already...

Is everyone here just to harrass me. Look read my first post ok. I said I would not do it again. Also I did this when I first got the car 5 or 6 years ago. K. I'm not proud of it. Simply trying to prove to the ignorant that it can be done and it was. There was absolutly no exageration to that story. It really did happen and could happen.

As a minor (17 yrs old 2 months away from 18) I was arrested for assault & battery and breaking and entering. We broke into an desserted wharehouse and set up some ramps and rails to skate on. Some dude was there drunk starting some static, he punched a friend of mine and started to go for me, I hit him square in the head w/my skateboard the back truck kingpin bolt caught him right above the eye and split open his eyebrow down to the white. That was the assault and battery charge. As he gets stitched up he tells the cops about the wharehouse, few days later they come busting in the front and back doors, no way out. Few hours later Im in a line up and get picked out. I was given a butt load of community service payed fines and had to attend "counsling" for 1 year. All in all I was lucky since it was a 1st time offense and self defense the judge went a little easy on me, most of the punishment I was given was for the B and E, either way I learned my lesson, kept my nose clean ever since now Im 32.
3.2 e mag ULE body and rail. Oh yeah I gots the X inside!!!

Heh, I'm not here to harrass you... just to give you a hard time! But seriously, I think we all probably did stupid stuff when we were younger (I know I did) that we look back on and think
With age tends to come wisdom and experience. Hopefully everyone here will live through their "mistakes" and realize how lucky they were.
