AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
If you listen to Linkin Park today, and 5 years ago, the sound is similar if not the same because the band is the same. If you want every single damn song to be a new sound, buy 15 different singles from 15 different bands.
That could be argued in a positive or negative way. I personally enjoy bands that evolve and mature over their lifespans, it shows that they are less one dimensional than a lot of the crap out there.

This whole "BOO MANUFACTURED!" mentality is retarded. Infact, alot of it links back to the whole "Corporations are evil" mentality. Both are dumber than a bag of hammers. If you think Corporations are ruining music, your wrong. Emo and whinypunk bands are.
Corporations push "Emo and whinypunk bands". So your point is somewhat pointless. There's a reason so much of the music on MTV and the radio sounds like the same recycled crap, it's because it's made to sound that way.
I listen to all genres of music, so much as its obvious the music is good. By good, I mean creative, and/or challenging.
Linkin' park is none of this. Its something that was pieced togethor to sound the same/similar as whats popular now. Like I said, linkin park wasnt a group of friends playing this type of music in their garage.
Now, granted, I wont sit and BASH them, or the people who like them, just the people who think that they are some sort of amazing group of musicians that write original material etc... the kind of people who think that a group like 3 Days Grace is better than Tool or something... I hate those people.
I'll give you Tool for sure! Those guys ! About the only new (meaning within the last 4 years or so) band that I listen to on a regular basis and really still enjoy is System of a Down.
