my dvd rom is somehow set to region 8...how to change it back to region 1?

mark- my mobo driver cd didn't have very many drivers on it...i'll try it though.

could this possibly be a firmware issue?

mark- tried the mobo cd solution..the drivers aren't on that cd...back to the drawing board :-/

edit- those two devices turned out to be my tv tuner card...no relation to the problem
