ok, i'm a 13year-old freshman. i'm not old enough for work. and i need to get a new gat. the problem is, i'm a bit short on cash, around 400. I don't have any celebrations where i get money any time soon. my birthday isn't until next june.
i'm sure some other people are in the same boat as me. anyone got advice?

eh, w/e. we use gat in my school when talking about paintball markers, so i just use it.
i'm planning on getting an rt mag so obviously 300 isnt enough. and im not old enough to work, as stated earlier. and sticking with a low end blowback or k-mart level pump thing isn't very easy for me, but ill do it. does anyone have any better advice?

You oughta just keep doing that until the season's over. I mow lawns with my dad because I gotta pay for stuff I want, money in the bank, pay for insurance. This is all coming from several yards I do with my dad. We sort of have a little business going on around here. Just wait a little while, when you're 14 you can get a job, not a good job, but a job none the less.

We'll before you spend 800$ on a fancy marker make sure you know why its 800$, and its so much better than that 400$ glob. FYI its not the marker at all from my expirence, its the player. For 400$ you can get a really nice set up. I suggest a BKO 300$ and a jam bolt if you got friends that can help you upgrade it and what not.

For 160$ you can make marker that shoots just like a 1200$ timmy, but that takes expirence and knowledge to know what to do.

i've tried it. i love it. and ok, i admit. the autococker is not mine. it is my friends. he has left for a year to go to school in china, so i'm borrowing his gun for a long time. i am sick of the autococker. i now want to get a new gun for myself. it will hopefully be the automag setup i listed. im pretty set on it. im not really fond of the tac one since im a speedball player. i have left the woods this past year.

How about this... I shoot an Alias and you get your Pimped out BKO. I don't care who you are, but the Timmy shoots cleanerrrrrr, consistancy, lack of kick, its just a better designed gun. I know what you mean though.


Thread creater (can't remember your name), I suggest that you pick up a gun used. #1 its cheaper and at 13 years old, you need to save every penny you can (I know, I can still remember the days). Here is a general idea of how much a mag will cost used:

RT/E-mag Valve: $175 (I have one for sale at that price)
RT Rail and sear: $30 (I have one for sale)
I-frame: $80 (just sold one)
ULE body: $100 (just sold two)
Airlines: $20
and you already have a barrel, hopper and tank

so that totals to about $400...
