the ford gt will be very hard to beat, and that thing looks like crap compared to the rest of the worlds supercars, its plain, it isnt vulgar enough, compared to the SLR or the carrera gt. The koenigsegg and the Zonda even look better than that.

The slr is still the best car to date IMHO

        0-60 in 2.9s
        1/4 10.6s
top speed of 248 or 249 (forget which)

        850hp compared to fords 550
850 ft/lbs of torque compared to fords 500

        Plus it looks better.

Whats does the GT have that it doesn't?

        0-60 3.60 sec.

        0-70 4.70 sec.

        1/4 Mile 11.78 sec.

Dunno why, but I just love how that thing looks, pretty clean lines, yet lumpy enough to not be too plain. haha..

eh it's a chrysler... it won't make it to the end of the 248miles to see how fast it goes in a hour anyway.

The second GT is being delivered this week. It was pre sold.

GT's have been sold. A GT has been delivered. Which is more than the ME 4/12.

I'd guess a 60% chance that they will actually make them, and if they do, it had better truely awesome, since there are better looking supercars out there. No one would buy a Ford GT if it wasn't for it's nostaliga. I doubt anybody would buy a supercar Chrysler without the same backing. And frankly, the ME 4/12 is kinda ugly.

ps. If you're gonna be such a mopar lover, spell the name right at least.

Have they set a price for the ME 4/12 yet? How do you know if it's cheaper or not?

                        Shelby anyone?

Have any of you checked out the Ford Cobra Shelby Concept?

                        Shelby

I think they should drop a powerstroke in there!!!

The Shelby, assuming it goes to production, is supposed to be priced to compete with the Viper.

                            IE, in the 80-90,000 range.

So it beats both the abovementioned cars (Except in looks, the GT is sexier).
