On a similar note, we don't have anything that resembles a shop class either. The closest thing was electronics where we got to build & wire walls, but that teacher is gone now...

My classes this semester are Marine Science, Spanish II, Algebra II and Journalism. Next Semester,. I think I have English III, Electronics III, Web Design II and Visions II.

Hmm i got my scheduled finalized today, taking video 1st and 2nd per then have norm classes after that. My vid teacher is fighting for me to get me out of comparative religions, which is reqauired by my school to graduate. Hes telling the counsolors that he needs me in their for the 2 periods all year, not just for one sem. So hopefully ill get out of religion and be able to take 2 all year long vid classes instead of jsut one, and a sem one.

I hate my school,
I go to a catholic high school, with 210 people, and we can't even leave for lunch.
I don't know how you managed to get that many study halls but that my friend is awsome!

im in the same boat as you. i have 4 classes and 4 off periods. and i have a block schedule so i only have 4 classes a day. one day i go to school an hour and a half late and get out an hour and a half early, the next i get to leave over 3 hours early combined with lunch. so ya, im stoked as well.

Study Hall, I havent had that since 6th grade back up in NY, down here in the south, no such thing as study hall. I have a free period, where I leave school and go home at 12:15 every other day .

Does anyone here to go a college prep school where they don't believe in uhhhh, hands on classes, like shop, autobody, home ec, etc? We have to take like normal classes all the way thru. I got study all every other day this year, since I have to be in the bio lab for 2 periods every other day. This year is going to be fun...

Thats cool, my senior year I had 3 study halls in a row. Id always leave school. Id go out to eat, go home and take a dump, play basketball with my friends that graduated. I loved it

Alot of my friends are doing similar things. Some only have to come to school for 1-2 periods a day. I'm not as fortuante though my senior year schedule looks a little something like this:

Jazz Band (starts before school at 6:45 )
AP Biology
Humanites (2 period class)
Humanites
AP Calc
Band
AP Physics

(at least it's my last year)


All but the Biology I was requried to take, although they didn't have to be AP classes but I figured if I had to take them I might as well get stuck with a good teacher and learn it all now so I can cruise through those college classes.

The only thing I regret is I don't have any room in my schedule for any hands on classes such as woods, auto, photography, etc etc. I'm also jealous of all my friends that have to wake up and come to school around 1pm for only an hour or two .
