Maybe dont use real actors and such, do a movie in a animation wiht the style fo the final fantasy movie, which looked amazing, almsot real. There fore u woudlnt have to deal wiht actors, jsut voice people.

I have one GOOD example,
RED vs. BLUE
based on Halo! But that was made actually using the game, and I think what you are suggesting is to actually have actors. That would suck. But RvB is the tightness.

If HL was done with the graphics of Final Fantasy the movie and followed the original story line pretty well, it could be half decent. Or they could find award winning actors with some pretty bad special effects that would also turn out quite well. They would have to follow the story line closely though or it could turn out to be horrible like half the movies based on video games.
I mean the HL story was one of the best game stories I have ever played. Period. If you haven't played HL all the way through, go do it, so that way you will understand HL2 when it comes out in all its greatness. But back to the video game movie stuff. I can name three game based movies that turned out ok

I wouldnt say Mortal Combat was a good movie, the game was just a fighting game like Street Fighter... so no real plot that they had to work with there. Same with AvP.

Alien vs Predator wasn't "just a game". It was actually a series of comics, and books. They had a TON of stuff to work with that they just ignored.
The game came after the comics/etc.Its a wakeup call for the Nintendo generation

Honestly comic movies don't come out too well either. IE the Hulk, Daredevil, The Punisher, Spiderman (it was OK), I can't remember anymore, but I know there were a lot, and alot of them came out pretty bad.Originally posted by digitard
