Cool, the 20D looks like a nice camera. I am still holding off and buying a MarkII when I can afford it.
I would avoid the EF-S lenses. Think of it this way, lenses are the biggest invenstment you should make in camera. When I shot film, I went through 3 different bodies, but still used the same lenses. This is very common and for as often as camera manuf change their mounts lenses will last you much longer than the body, especially in the digital age. If you go with EF-S lenses, then Canon comes out with a Full Framed CCD/CMOS body at a reasonable price and you want to buy it, you now have to buy new lenses.
