Pretty good story, and I'm pretty sure thats all it is.
-edit-
The Blair Witch Project came out in 1999, and this website was created in 2001... Both are pretty damn scary if it was real, and pretty damn stupid if it wasn't.Last edited by Koosh; 10-03-2004, 12:30 AM.Hey Zero, how much did that Chipley cost ya?

...yes...you realize that people spend hundreds of millions of dollars to create fake stories, right? Chipping some rock dosn't seem like that big of a venture to me. Any decent story will have a basis on reality and "proof".Originally posted by RingOfScale(think of it this way,,, would someone really bother busting a hole in the wall of a cave for a fake story ??)

I've read better. I've been in caves that have intermintant "breaths" as atmospheric pressure changes, its a pretty common phenomenon. As far as noises go, they are the perfect un-natural scary story prop. "did you hear that!!??" "i dont know, maybe!" meh, good effort, but lacks any form of substance.Comment

In my defense..
it was late, I was doing some chronic, and I had just emptied a 2-liter of Dr.Pepper. Hard as I tried, my logic unit failed to work
. The thing that got me, was how detailed his story was, and unless the guy was actually a caver (Or just spent alot of time studying caving, for a go-nowhere story) it could have some basis. Lets just say the story is real; there are 3 possible outcomes:
1) They died, somehow, 3 years ago. Boring.
2) They escaped, but something devastating happened that haunted the survivor(s) forever. Kinda cool.
3) The freakiness turned out to be something so simple and mundane they never wanted to say what it was, to spare themselves the embarassement. Not bad :).
Real or not, I was tense that whole night. Don't even get me started on mirrors..

Very true. In fact, that really makes no sense; linking a button to a page that doesn't exist yet. I think its actually being hosted by the site 'holyshiite', as it is spooky. Regardless, it gave me a good scare.
