Weird Caving Story

it was a good story in the sence that they way its written , being so long and pretty descriptive, makes it seem real, but then again who writes like 8 pages on chisseling rock. you think that could be sumed up in like 3 paragraphs. wasnt a great story, but worth the read.

lol ok its the next day, and yeah it snot nearly as scary. Plenty of things that dont add up hehe ... just it was really late last night, i hadnt been sleeping enough, etc etc, so my mind wasnt working right when i was reading it.

BTW, earlier when i asked why would they spend os much time choping a whole in a wall for a fake story, and someone else said "people spend millions of dollars on fake stories all the time" ... well those people are getting money back in return, these guys wouldnt be getting payed for there work or anything in return ...


Anyway i have a whole new fun ghost story to tell the 10 year old new boyscouts in our troop *GRIN*

Really probably everything happened in that story except for the weird ghost parts... I bet they are vetern cavers, and created a nice story to go along with their exploration.

lol yeah that makes sense... they see the hole, tear it bigger, go farther into the cave... find some kool crystals, not much else, so they decide to write the story to make their time have been worth it hehe

reading that has jump started my fascination with haunted places and cryptozoology again.

i used to be really into that stuff, not so much UFOS and ghost but the thought that there might be a missing link, that the tasmanian tiger isnt exstinct , the cat of exmoor is real, and the maryland mystery animal isnt just a shave hiena

After reading people's posts, I don't know if I should think it was real or fake....Those are some pretty good reasons to support that it's fake though. Either way, that story was freaky.

Well, I'm looking at it again, and it doesnt look as real as it did at 2 am the other night, but you gotta admit, if its fake, they did a great job writing it.. or atleast I thought so.

I didn't read much of this thread, so sorry if it's been posted. The pictures don't work, but I have been into the Carlsbad Caverns (hell, I lived 10 minutes away from them) and I get a vague idea of what the cave looks like. I just finished page 6...This is unusual. Can't wait to see what's lying ahead.

Edit: Damn, Where's the Ending! Man..that stinks. That was one really good story, or I hope to God that whatever is in that cave stays there. If I ever came across that caving, I'd just up and die there...No second thoughts or anything. Just tell my body to shut down.

that is scary as hell. Its like some being is living down there. I have one rule if I ever where to do something like that. First off, I would bring a couple firearms with me, and some ammunition. I guess I watch too many horror movies, but things like this could really happen. I also, would bring spot lights and a jackhammer, to make digging out the cave easier. Im going to have trouble sleeping....
