Christmas Ideas (I'm sure it's been done before)

Well, Parents are demanding a Christmas list,

    Total $ Allowance -> Circa 800$

Right now I've got a 40 gig I-pod on the list, and that's it. That means I have near 400$ worth of other things to get, but I have no idea. For all you "old timers" if you were a 16, going on 17 year old male, what would you want for Christmas. Keep this in mind, My birthday is in Feb. so anything I probably don't get here, will come on my big day.

Also, post other ideas for other family members if you'd like.

Edit: No Cash will be had by me. Parent's think it doesn't have meaning when I can go buy what I want. Also here's a good idea that I took off with.

"I'm thinking I may get new stereo system for here as the house, as there isn't one nice one in it yet, and I want the nice one to be mine Basically I'm going to have a 400-450$ limit. What decent system can I get, and, is it possible to connect my computer to the receiver and use my playlist from my computer?"

A new stereo for your car if u have one, or just a really nice head unit. Or ask for cash and save it for paintballing.

I'd be happy with $400 in cash.

If they refuse, demand recipts for everything they give you.

I'm liking Echo's idea so far, as I spend alot of time in my frog (my room) which I have my computer in and I play music/movies 24/7 in here.

Lemme clarify (I'll put this in the top post too): No Cash will be had. The 'rents said no cash will be given...I think it's total bull, but they said that they want me to have stuff with "meaning" to it. I told them it's mean not to let a kid have $$$ so he can spend it on stuff that means something to him. They said, "don't be a smartass."

I'm thinking I may get new stereo system for here as the house, as there isn't one nice one in it yet, and I want the nice one to be mine Basically I'm going to have a 400-450$ limit. You could get the I-trip or something similiar and hook your i-pod up to your stereo.

Im in a postion in life where if I want something in the few hundred dollar range I buy it. This is also what my parents spend on us (my sister, her husband, and I) for b-days, Xmas etc. So Im spoiled, get over it. I always find it fun not to give out ideas, adn see what they come up with. I am usually very nicely surprised

If your in a positon in your life where if you want some thats a few hundered dollars, you buy it, dont get a credit card, lol. BIG MISTAKE! I would know....

But, anyway on to your questions. Here are some of my thoughts...

                      Speaker system for your TV
                      Digital Camera
                      Game System(Xbox, PS2, Game Cube)

If you got a car, get a nice stero, your windows tinted.

That's just the thing, if it's not on my list, I don't get it. Simple as that. I don't have a truck yet. Chances are my dad will be giving me his 2004 4 door S-10..It's got XM Radio and a pretty nice stereo in it already, so I'm not too worried about it. I don't game at all..not anymore at least. I use my PS2 for playing DVDs. Yea, I'm spoiled in that I can get expensive stuff, I just can't get it frequently. I'm just looking for some cool stuff that I can add on now, things that I could use regularly and always be fun.

Edit: Echo, your birthday doesn't happen to be on April 19th does it?

i agree w/ echo, he got a pretty nice 5.1 system for like less than 70 and then u can get a card for like 20 dollars, for a few more you could get a really nice one, they have good deals on websites like www.newegg.com , happy shopping, you could get upgrades for your computer (always fun!!!!!1) or some accessories for your ipod, the little stand up speakers for it are pretty cool i saw it in bestbuy
