oh ya, i forgot to mention that i was throwing up blood. i hadnt eaten anything in the morning, just like they told me to, so there was nothing there except for blood that i swallowed during the operation. hahahha have a good time with yours

haha ya, i havent left my house in the last three days. my cheeks are swollen so much that i look like a chipmunk and it hurts . im sure that my case is very rare though because others i have talked to say that their experiences were much better.

While i have never had my wisdom teeth removed, I have had 5 surgeries on my leg over the summer and all I can say is that the gas they give you before is so awesome i love it. The only downside was I had like 3 of the surgeries in the same week and afterward i couldnt go to the bathroom so i had to have a cathoder whcih hurt really bad taking in and out and an enema which just plain sucked. Oh yeah i forgot to mention the morphine lol. Lots of morphine. Also Had to take perkaset/oxycodone after. Wow thats a lot of drugs heh.

yeah i had mine taken out last year. i would not call it a fun experience. they took out 4 .

the gas is very cool though, i woke up and i couldnt see, but somehow that did not disturb me in any way. at home i realized i was sooo drugged up that i had been chewing on my tongue and not realizing it, it looked like a gnawed piece of meat.....

not to mention you have to take Vic's like crazy if you dont want your jaw to be crazy paintful. i went paintballing on sunday ( i took them out on friday) and wow...paintballing loaded on vics aint good. i was playing back and blood was foaming around my lips and dripping down while i was screaming out positions...so harcore

When I had all 4 of mine taken out it wasn't too bad for the first week, then I got "Dry Socket". My surgeon warned me about it, and let's just say that it sucks. They pack the hole where your tooth (that should be filled with a blood clot that is missing) used to be with this nasty gauze, and you experience pain when it's being packed in there that not even the Vico's can fix. In addition to the pain it has a taste from hell, that nothing can erase.
On a side note I will say when you're on whatever pain killers they give you, DON'T WATCH "SMURFS", it will totally mess with your head, and I have theories, and calculations on them that will blow just about anyones mind, and have yet to be disproven.

I think I need mine yanked out. I do know that I need 2 crowns on my upper back molars.

I had a root canal back in July I think 'cause of an Abscess. That sucked.

I only seem to have one poking through, and it sorta comes through in spurts. Is this normal? There doesnt appear to be any more

Yeah I had one come in and it took a few months, now the 2nd one is about half way there after a month. Alot of people never get all of them, it's common just to get two or three.

yea i couldnt controll the pitch of my voice ...so i sounded like a prepubecent kid ( i am 19 )

and i couldnt see for about 15 minutes ....that was a little odd. or maybe its just because i can only remember voices ...i dont know

I had all 4 of mine taken out. They were pushing all my other teeth so that they were noticably crooked. They also were so crowded that they hooked under the tooth in front and made it impossible for them to come out.

So they gassed me quickly, shot some novicane, and then busted them out and I was awake in about 45 minutes. I was kind of pissed that they gave me novicane because the shots made my face hurt for a long while. But then again, you don't have much say when you're already gassed out.

They bled for a while after that, so you just have to put something in there to soak it up. If they give you any meds to keep the open wound/socket from drying up/getting infected, take them as well. Clean it out by gently swishing water or using something to spray water where the teeth were.

You'll be glad you got them out, it's just 1 less thing you'll have to deal with.
