Razor burn?

I use an electric razor and i get really bad razor burn. Now i'm having to shave more often and it gets kind of annoying. Any way to stop it?

Be a man and use a straight razor and offbrand shaving cream.



























Seriously. I do and I never get razor burn.....but I also have a beard, so go figure.

Shave in the shower, using no shaving cream. Works wonders. If you can, keep the blade cole, and your face warm. If you heat the blade, it will expand slightly, and dull the blade.

Here is my routineL

1. Shave right after I get out of a hot showever using a Gillette sensor.
2. Wash my face with hot, then cold water.
3. Put a good lotion on my face.

Once I started doing this, I have never had razor burn, and I used to get some damn awful razor burn before.

I would say no. I'm only 15 and been shaving for about a year. It's not that hard at all.

get a good razor. and cheap cream. gellet has been suplying me with razors for like 2 years now. for free too ( they send you razors for like NO reason, i got one a long time ago, my dad got one and i took it, then i got another when i turned 18, and i got another like a monthe later)

Because for some reason stubble on the underside of my jaw pisses me off. I can't stand it.

Don't push very hard (let the razor do the work) and don't let the blade slip sideways. The Mach 3 is a pretty nice razor. It doesn't actually cut any closer than the older Sensor, but it seems more comfortable.

Shave down for everyday nonsense and up for dates.

You'll have to experiment a little for yourself as to what works best. ie before, during, or after shower, with soap or shaving cream, etc.

Mach 3. Either use a decent gell, cheap shaving creame, or just do like me, and just shave with a wet face. Doesnt bother me.
