My dad works for NBC Sports and has seen this guy at many tournaments for years (he works the large PGA tournaments along with all the major sporting events i.e. superbowl, world series, etc.)
Next week he will ask him who he works for. He said when he first appeared on the circuit the engineers who he works with thought the guy was a joke (due to all the gear) and they shot film of him to send back to the trucks so everyone could see.
