Do you plan on introducing us to this product...? And yah Ipod does make the 40G version of this, with alot of AWESOME assecories.. like the extra LCD on the Headphone wiere, so u dont have to take it out of ur pocket.

they do make a 40 gig iriver

So, 2/3 thirds thicker and almost twice as heavy.

For a color screen, which will let you get to your mp3's better? and a fm receiver.

So do you work for Iriver? or something? What's your angle for shilling the iriver?

and you can get a 60 gig ipod photo witch has a 15 hour battery life and also piture screen and is a tiny bit smaller then the orginal 4th gen 40 gig ipod

I just picked up something way better than all of those mp3 players: The worlds first portable satellite radio w/ 5 hours record time. It even sorts the songs into a searchable database as if they were mp3's.

If I wasn't getting an ipod, the dell mp3 player would be next on my list, its really good.

Mango, the sat. radio thing is great if you like what they're playing. If not, well, that sucks.

Hence, why I like my mp3s. I can get radio station variety [hell, I do better.. I have roughly 4 days of music on my iPod.. so I hear the same thing only once every 4 days of straight play, if I want.. try that with radio, especially top40] with all the songs I have plus I know I like them all.

The biggest feature the Ipod has over every player I have seen is the sleep timer. I like listening to music before I sleep, and sometimes I don't turn it off before I fall asleep and waste all the batteries in my cd player.

Iriver has sleep timer, its awesome I love using it...

My XM Radio has a sleep timer too. Oh it will also turn itself on, record up to 5 hours from any channel I want, then turn itself off.

Mango, if I need traffic, I'm probably in the car. Turn on the radio. I check the weather online in the morning. I carry with me a number of hours of comedy. The only thing you got me on is talk radio, but hard drive players get ya on on-demand availability of anything we want to listen to.
