So, now that the PSP has launched in Japan, what are your thoughts on the two?
In my minds eye, I think that the DS is really revolutionary with including the touch screen technology, but boy oh boy, does PSP have the games. I know alot of people are also complaining about PSP's battery life, but I cant see how 4-6 hours (as reported by IGN) can be bad, really, who plays it for any longer than 4-6 hours unless going across country/world?
Both offer WiFi, at about the same range(100 feet or so), so I dont think either are better in terms of play. It would be nice to see both come out with router capabilities to allow online gaming.
Anyways, I plan to possibly pick up a PSP while I'm in Japan, and I'm getting a DS for christmas, so I think both handhelds look awesome. I'm leaning a little toward the PSP though, the trouch screen looks fun, but it looks like its more of a novelty than anything.
I leave you guys with this picture...
