When LJ people kill an account they kill it completely, I know...I pissed off people with one of my journals and it was killed quite quickly with no chance of getting it back.

Are you kidding me? Bandwidth? As SUPERLAME (wow, still finding censored words I didn't know about) as LJ may be, they wouldn't have shut cown _countdown due to bandwidth. They operate approximately eighteen gajillion active accounts, and although servers may be slow and/or down at times, they don't need to kill a popular one to save on bandwidth. They're really not a small time operation anymore.
