Judging by the posts in this thread, I'd say that Emagballa forgot "hypocrisy" and "not having half a brain" as problems with AO. 'Cept, or course, for Thordic and tsc.
You know, seems that the REAL old school AOers (a la, the ones that matter) didn't notice you were gone. So then you come back and complain? Maybe you should have just stayed away.

But yes, I agree. AO isn't the same as it used to be.
In all honesty though...
If you add up all the posts of people whining about how bad AO is getting, and add up all the posts they are whining about, the number of people whining outnumbers the number of people they are whining about by a factor of roughly 10 billion to one.

AO has definitely changed a bit. Seems like it would be harder to get a bunch of people together at an event then it used to be. Forumwise, i think the new generation of players does make this a little like PBN, but that isnt necessarily bad, PBN has some smart people on their forum with good gun info, and a kickass bst forum. The trick is to filter out the crap, if you do that, its pretty much the same AO its always been.
