        Hrm, maybe. That'd still get rid of over 12000 members so it might work.

        I dunno if I want to adopt anyone though.

            We could have it so that if an adoptee acts up, they will get banned like whoa, and so will the adopter. So, everyone has to behave!
            Such a sham(e).

              Eh after a looking around I noticed a couple post-5ker's worth keeping, but not many.

                  It's a larger community, and we are drawing newer players than before. Not that I'm not new or anything.

                  Meh, someone else said this earlier in one of the many whine-fests, but I'll repeat it;

                  AO events, where we can get together in real life and play, are the most important part of AO. The boards are a seperate entity to a large degree.

                  edit crap. it was shartley

                  Hitech, its perfectly acceptable to ask ?'s about video games. Especially when its in Friendly Corner, where it belongs.

                  Sponge, welcome back. A good chunk of the core group is still here (it seems). A lot of new members try to bring something (anything) useful to the boards. Ignore whom you must, and filter out those opinions that are childish if you want.

                  However, we have a really solid group of guys who play together around once a month here in Nor-Cal. Abandoning this group of players because AO has changed in your abscence would be a large loss on your part in my opinion. I have been playing with these guys for several months after moving from LA, and they are just awesome.

                  If anyone from Nor-Cal had their act together , they'd be getting loaded at my place on New Years. But they slack, and thus lose.

                  Point being: stick around, and remember what it is most important about AO.

                  //Double edit: Thor, everyone knows you would adopt LPB.

                      Mango is right. This place definitely has no sense of humor.

                            I wonder what AO would be like if I ignored everyone over 5k member number. I bet it would be better.

                              I'm not a big poster, but i've been around for a good while, and we've been saying "AO has changed" ever since I joined...

                              AO is going to keep changing, and keep growing. Sure the atmosphere was different back when I first joined, but its always been an enjoyable place to be. I have a feeling it's going to stay that way.
