Dont even think of putting blink 182 in the punk catagory. punk music isnt sell out like that stuff. Punk music is the ramones, sex pistols, the clash, rancid... blink 182 is sell out pop rock. Oh and also there isnt anysuch thing as christian punk rock. punk rock is basically the complete opposite of christian rock. there is nothing wrong with christian music. its just when people start trying to catagorize it with punk, metal, ... Ok... I'm not an avid fan of Blink, and I listen to most of the same stuff as Acer, i'm sure... However, the difference is he fails to keep an open mind with music.

Although Blink is pop, it is far from "sellout rock." Before you get this "holier-than-thou" attitude with your musical tastes, you need to broaden your horizons and realize that other music buffs aren't going to persecute you for listening to something popular.

Ahh, true. Newer metal/screamo, like Atreyu, and the like are getting very popular around my school, by people who I would never expect to like that music. I've been a fan before they released there new album, however, it is what made them popular.

I dunno, Acer needs to just give up on listening to music, me thinks.

Squid your wrong i do have a very open mind to music. i listen to all kinds of music not just punk or metal. i am a musician so have an appriciation for most music. i won't say all because i don't like rap, country, or sell out rock and yes blink 182 is sell out.
