    I believe the edges are slightly beveled.

    Atleast that's what the cashier at the Apple Store here told me.

    Also, I have multiple gigabytes of music from the 70's and 80's that I enjoy listening to. I have it all loaded on my iPod, and just hit shuffle. From there, it's all random. That way I get to listen to a larger variety of music, IMHO, than if I just had a dinky 256mb Flash Player.

    Also, looking at some of the pictures sort of confirms that they're slightly beveled...

      I've got an ipod shuffle in my hands. There are four edges that are rounded. That leaves 8 sharp-ish edges.

      Granted, there's not a lot of radiusing that could be there. And I bought it anyway... But a .5mm radius would be cool. They radiused the hell out of the normal hard drive ipod... Maybe I'll smooth mine out.
