    .
forgot to add that the higher gear you get, i.e. 4.10's, the quicker your 60 foot time will be becuase it enhances your aceleration, you just cant sustain high speeds..

Did the same thing in a much different car (70 Roadrunner). I got a ticket for a city ordnance against "spinning the tires within the city limits". And no, I'm not kidding. It was only a $20 fine and didn't go on my DVM record. But the cop was pissed when I passed the field sobriety test.

Not to be nit-picky, but the rear end spins at the same speed as it always does at any speed.

The engine, normally in the front, spins faster for the same speed with a higher number ratio rearend.

Well, it's easy to blame "stupid politics" but what were the real reasons?

Has anyone tried to open up a new one?

With some effort and a good site, it should be easy to open a new track as a way to stop outlaw racing. But, finding the site WILL be difficult. While you might not mind the noise of racing. Few neighbours will put up with it....

If your car can't drive at 65 for extended periods, it should undoubtably be declared illegal to drive on public roads.
          Tell you what then...

I'd love to see you open one up around here!!

Do you know how many people have tried that??????

PS No neighbors, they're trying to protect the giant, red-eared, carpet gerbil or something.

THEY DON'T GIVE A RIP ABOUT PEOPLE OR ANYTHING...I hate to say it, but Cali is turning into Canada...No offence.

Not flaming, just stating some facts.

PS My car could go 120mph at 8000 rpm...more than enough for dragging...but if I stayed at 4k for 3 hours, my engine, or tranny would be shot. Car was perfectly street legal.
