Nice macros. Looking a maybe picking up a Tamron 90mm.

A few years back, I had a non-IS Canon 70-200 2.8. It was a amazing lens, I just could not find too much use for it. It was great for portraits and shooting plays and sports, but not much else. It sat in my bag most of the time unused. I sold it when I needed some quick cash for 1k.

I mostly ran and still run with my 28-105 on 99% of the time. I need wider because now on my 10D that 28mm is a 50mm

A recent semi-macro shot ( focused as close as my 28-105 would let me)

Non-macro, but too cute not to share

Is that first one just paint splaters on a wall? It almost looks 3D.

Cute kid, what was he reading?

The first one is paint splatters on my living room window. 50mm, 1.8 or so for lots of blur.

Ian is reading Baby's First Bible . It has it's own carry handle but is not quite as in-depth as the original version

I finally got the 100mm f2.8 macro. Haven't too much time to play but here is one shot.

It says the pic is attached. Even when I click the edit post it shows its there under manage attachements. AO glitch maybe?

Dunno. If you are into taking photos you really need a pbase account

                        Is that a fly?

pbase.com is a cheap gallery site.

It was some small flying bug, I was originally going for the water drops, but noticed the bug. I didn't get a close look at it, but it was much smaller than the average housefly, about the size of a gnat.
