Minnesota High School Hockey, Anyone?

I caught the end of the Tatino Grace(sp) and warsaw. Warsaw won in double overtime, good game from what i heard.

Computer's still down, posting off of schools computer now---anyways, yes, Hockey is huge in Minnesota. Football is still pretty big though in the fall and the Vikings are really popular around the midwest, exept for Wisconsin maybe, Packers--argh! How is hockey down in Texas with the Dallas Stars, a lot of people pay attention to them?

Its not as big as it is up there, but its getting there. i think the stars arnt very popular these days because of the lockout but there is still quite a large fanbase for the other pro leauge (hell if i know what its called)

Wes I feel like punching Texans who are ignorant of the Stars. First you steal them from us, then you dont appreciate them. The only people lower on the totem pole are cheeseheads.

65 DEGREES!!!--I'd kill for that temp right now, it about 25 right now and supposed to get colder in the next few days. Last year we went to Daytona Beach for Bike week and Spring break and 65 was the high for some of the days--we were riding our motorcycles in shorts and t-shirts and loving it. I know, I know---we should have had our riding gear on, but after spending the winter in sub zero temps, you really can't help yourself. whoops, got off of the subject, oh well.

Wes, the band doesn't play on the ice, but the cheerleaders get out there on skates and do their thing. Funny story,,,a few years ago a bunch of us went to a White Bear lake hockey game at the Coliseum and the cheerleaders went to get on the ice at intermission and one of them forgot to take her skate gaurd off--of course she fell flat on her face, got up, still didn't realize what was wrong, and fell again. By this time the whole stadium is one big roar of laughter and she proceeded to do it one more time before realizing her skate gaurds were on. Some of you local people around town might even remember hearing about it on 93X and for anyone that is wondering, 93X is one of the major radion stations in the St.Paul/Minneapolis area, thats how much it got around the whole city. I would have hated to be in her skates. The funniest thing was that she was totally blonde too.

The WCHA Final Five is up next weekend at the X. Should be another good showing of Hockey! Anyone else make it to the Aeros game last week? The fight in the corner was damn good after the Griffins Goalie went after that Aeros player.

Yeah, should be some real good hockey, this time of year is always fun. Didn't make it to the game but I bet it was fun to watch.
