I'll be honest and say that I've smoked the 10x Salvia.

Mild hallucinations for a few minutes, followed by a euphoric high.

It's been around in some cultures for hundreds of years.

For the record- I don't normally do drugs. But certain things peak my interest, and I have to give them a try.

Salvia is alright. You can get some pretty strong trips depending on how much and how high of an extract you take. The 15x is the most popular extract. It's effects hit you within I'd say 5-10 minutes. It lasts for about 15-30 minutes. After that you still feel a little doped up but you can still do regular tasks. The final effects wear off after about 2-4 hours. No, you don't have to be 18 years old to buy it. However, the only places that sell it are headshops, and you have to be 18+ to even step foot inside those places. Just a little FYI. Don't ever buy Salvia leaves. It costs more than the extract in most cases, and all it does is give you a head ache after smoking it. Oh yeah, if it's your first time doing any pyscho-active drug, take a small amount and small extract, just so you can get used to the feeling of it. You don't want to be the dumbass kid who smokes a gram of 50x and has to be admitted to the hospital.

Salvia is sold as an incense, but you wouldn't want to burn it, smells horrible.

Not really like pot, smoke it diffrent and its effects are much stronger, and pretty diffrent. Trippy stuff, but don't try it alone, its strong.

I use Salvia all the time... in my Dressing.... it is Sage in one form or from one Salvia species. Not certain what exact species of Salvia this one your talking about is though. But its not only an Herb but also an ornamental annual flower as well. Another few Species of it are. Salvia is rather generic sort of term. Not certain if its the Geneus and all these are species or if its Species and they all sub species.. or what...so I don't know the exact one they talking about for this smoking thing.

Mostly because salvia can't be readily converted into a substitute for any of DuPont's products. Lawmaking is a very slow process when there's no economic incentive.

Its actually Salvia Divinorum to be exact. There have been some studies and it isnt necessarily bad for you, just like smoking the plant thats illegal. It can have strong effects and can raise blood pressure because people freak out. Its also pretty harsh to inhale from what ive been told. Someone in the dorms did it and smoked alot of it. He said he had the worst experience of his life. Id be careful if i were to try it, which i eventually want to do, but with a friend to "babysit" me when i do. Till then ill stick to alcohol, i know my limits there.
